(Steens Kiger x Mestana)
Kiger Sundance is a magnificent dun Kiger Mustang stallion. He is registered with the Steens Mountain Kiger Registry, the Kiger Mesteno Association, the Internation Buckskin Horse Association, and the American Indian Horse Registry. He has won numerous blues, including first in the nation under judge Richard Shrake at the National Wild Horse and Burro Show in Reno Nevada. Sundance was the model stallion used for the "Golden Earth" character that is featured in the "No More Nightmares" stuffed horse toy sold nationally at tack shops and toy stores. Kiger Sundance's dam, Mestana, is the mare featured in the Breyer model "The Dawning", by Ronald Cheney. His sire is the well-known Steens Kiger.
This stallion throws exact replicas of himself. Foals are dun and have the sire's gentle disposition. Kigers are known for endurance and excel at trail and endurance events.Foals can be registered as full Kiger, half-Kiger, or as Buckskins.
